    Storytime

    - Storytimes for 3-5 year olds will be held on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Drop in and enjoy stories, hand rhymes, music and seasonal crafts. *No storytime on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Schedule change: Starting in January, Storytime for 3-5 year olds will take place on Thursdays at 1:30 p.m.

    - Books and Babies  music program for babies and toddlers is held on the first Saturday of the month from October - May at 10:00 a.m . Miss Leigh shares music, rhythm instruments, scarves and even a parachute!  No registration required. 

    -Tiny Tots Storytime for infants - 3 year olds will be held on the first and third Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. Join Miss Deb for stories, music and hand rhymes. Drop in! Sponsored by Community Teamwork, Inc.

    R.E.A.D.

    Second Saturday from October - May (No program in December or March) from 10 – 11:30 a.m. 

    Guinness is a registered Reading Education Assistance Dog. Read aloud to Guinness (and his handler) for 15 minutes, one-on-one for fun and as a confidence builder.  It's great encouragement for reluctant readers!  For Grades K - 6. Registration required.

    Lego Club meets on the 3rd Saturday in September and from November - May

    For grades K-2 at 10 a.m. and grades 3-5 at 11 a.m. We have the legos - You bring the creativity. Lego creations on display at the Library until the next month.  Drop in. 

  • Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children
    Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children

    Weekly classes for 3-5 year olds to be held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. New sessions starting in January 2015! 

    Six week session running January 6 - February 10, 2015 

    Classes will incorporate yoga movement and breathing into simple literacy activities. Taught by yoga instructor and children’s book author Ellen Olson-Brown. Registration required.

    Magic: The Gathering Club

    First Wednesday in October - May, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

    Do you love Magic: The Gathering card game? If so, this is the club for you! Bring your own cards/decks to play and trade with other fans. Snacks will be provided. Enter a monthly raffle for a booster! Grades 6 & up.  Drop in.

    Dads & Donuts

    Fourth Saturday from September - April (No program in December) from 10 - 11:00 a.m. 

    Dads & Donuts playgroup for infants and toddlers and their dad, granddad, uncle or other male caregiver . Drop in for munchkins, juice, playtime and making new friends. Funded by Community Teamwork, Inc.

  • Go Game Club
    Go Game Club

    First Saturday of the month September - May.

    Ages 5 – teens  meet from 11- 12 p.m. Teens may also join the adult session, which meets from 12:00-1:30 p.m.

    Go is a fun, easy to learn game of strategy for all ages! Invented in China over 4,000 years ago, the game of Go takes only a few minutes to learn.  The rules are simple, yet computers still haven't been able to beat the best human Go players. Come learn & play the game of Go. Just drop in!

    Teen Zentangle Art - Two NEW sessions!

    Attention teens! Two new Zentangle art sessions are scheduled with different themes!

    Wednesday, February 18, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Renaissance Zentangle

    Wednesday, April 22, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Dragonfly Garden (watercolor)

    Suzanne Binnie will teach the art of Zentangle, which uses repetitive patterns to create beautiful art. Go online to see examples of each type. Sign up for one or both sessions! Ages 13 +. Space is limited. Registration required.

    NEW! Cuentos a las Cuatro: Stories at Four

    Second Wednesday, November-May, 4-4:30 p.m.

    NEW! Introducing a very special storytime called Cuentos a las cuatro/Stories at Four. Join students from the THS Spanish Honor Society as they read stories in both Spanish then in English. Learn words in Spanish and maybe enjoy some music or other activities. For ages 5-8. Drop in!
