    A Supernatural Evening

    Wednesday, November 4 at 6:30 p.m.

    Jeff Belanger, author, host of the PBS New England Legends series and leading lecturer on legends and paranormal phenomena, will explore the unexplained: ghosts, monsters, and legends all over the world and in your backyard.

    Refreshments will be provided. Registration is required.

    This program is supported in part by a grant from the Tyngsborough Cultural Council, a local agency which is supported by the  Massachusetts  Cultural Council, a state agency.

    Grades K-2 at 10-11 a.m. and Grades 3-5 at 11 a.m.-12 p.m.

    We have the legos - You bring the creativity. Lego creations on display at the Library until the next month.  Drop in.

    Take me out to the ball game...Pass entitles bearer to up to SIX half-price tickets for the game stated on the front of the pass. Pass must be exchanged in person at the Spinners Box Office (can be done in advance). Call the Library or check the Museum Pass Reservation System online for details.

  • Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children
    Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children

    Weekly classes for 3-5 year olds to be held on Tuesdays at 10 -11 a.m.

    Six week session on: Tuesdays, October 6-27 and November 3 and 10.

    Classes will incorporate yoga movement and breathing into simple literacy activities. Taught by yoga instructor and children’s book author Ellen Olson-Brown. Registration required.

    First and third Wednesdays, October-May, 3:00-5:00 p.m.

    Do you love Magic: The Gathering card game? If so, this is the club for you! Bring your own cards/decks to play and trade with other fans. Snacks will be provided. Enter a monthly raffle for a booster! Grades 6 & up.  Drop in.

    Ages 5 – teens 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. Teens -Adults 12:00-1:30 p.m.

    Go is a fun, easy to learn game of strategy for all ages! Invented in China over 4,000 years ago, the game of Go takes only a few minutes to learn.  The rules are simple, yet computers still haven't been able to beat the best human Go players. Come learn & play the game of Go. Snacks provided. Just drop in!

    Zentangle Art Class

    Wednesday, October 7, 6-8:00 p.m.

    Zentangle art is fun and relaxing for everyone.  This class will be taught by Paula Ellis, CZT, using traditional zentangle patterns plus color to create a beautiful piece of art. $10 material fee due on the night of the event. You will receive a zentangle kit and markers to take home. Adults and teens 13+. Registration required.

    Zombie Makeup for Teens!

    Wednesday, October 14, 6:30-8:00 p.m.

    Registration required. Teens age 13+.

    Get ready for Halloween! Learn how to do your own zombie look by professional makeup artist, Julie Leshane.  Each participant will be transformed into a zombie by the end of class.  This zombie look can be recreated for Halloween, small budget films or zombie runs.  Please be aware of participants allergies to latex or creme based makeup.  Both will be used during the workshop.
