    Danielle of The Cozy Tea Cart will explain the differences between white, green, oolong and black teas. Learn about tea production and grades, caffeine content in the different varieties and proper storage and preparation techniques.

    The summer reading program is fun for adults! Enter your name (each time you finish a book) into a drawing for great prizes to be given at this event. Funded by the Friends of the Library.

    Favorites Roger Tincknell & Davis Bates will keep you smiling and tapping your feet with folk songs and stories that celebrate our diverse cultural heritage. Bring friends & a lawn chair or blanket. Event will be held indoors in case of rain.

    Fizz, Boom Read!  Be a part of the summer reading program. Join us for exciting events and programs for all ages, many of which follow this summer's theme...SCIENCE! Enjoy leisurely reading (or required reading for students!) and enter drawings for prizes.  Readers and prereaders of all ages are welcome to join in. Registration for Grades K-5 students starts on June 23!

    This is creative building with the Lego creations on display at the Library until the next month. Parents and caregivers, please remain on the Library premises if your child is under the age of 10.

    Grades K-2 from 10 -11 a.m. and grades 3-5 from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. on these dates. Drop in.

    Circus Arts Workshop

    Wednesday, July 30, 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.

    Marvelous Marvin teaches how to juggle scarves, balls, clubs, spin plates, walk on stilts, master the rhythm sticks, twirl rings, explore the flip and flyer and discover their own balancing skills. Ages 5 -12. Registration required.

    Join Ms. Deb and participate in fun science activities. Each week will feature a different science theme such as bubbles, paper airplanes, kaleidoscopes and more!     CSI Forensics Lab for Teens

    Wednesday, August 13, 2:30-4:30 p.m.

    Learn what forensic scientists deduce from skeletal remains using forensic anthropology. Join Lauren Monroe of Worcester Think Tank. Explore what “lies within” regarding DNA fingerprints. Hands-on activities will include mock crime scene investigation, a DNA extraction lab and experiments identifying and testing the decay and decomposition of bones. Pizza will be served! Age 13+.     Attention all college-bound students and families! Have questions about the college essays and admissions process? Lanita Foley, a college admissions expert, will present the details and timeline of the application process, financial aid requirements and how parents and teens can collaborate on getting into the best school possible.This FREE workshop is for students entering grades 9-12 and their parents. Refreshments will be served. Registration preferred, but not required.
