  • Yoga

    Tuesdays, 2:45-4 p.m.
    May 6, 20 & 27
    This class will conduct slow, gentle yoga stretches on the floor and will be taught by  Jan Price, LICSW.  Participants must be able to get off the floor unassisted.  Registration required.

  • Storytime

    - Storytimes for 3-5 year olds will be held on and Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. Drop in and enjoy new books, hand rhymes, music and seasonal crafts.

    - Books and Babies  music program for babies and toddlers is held on the first Saturday of the month from January through May at 10:00 a.m. Miss Leigh shares music, rhythm instruments, scarves and even a parachute!  No registration required.

    -Tiny Tots Storytime for infants - 3 year olds will be held on the first and last Wednesdays at 11:00 a.m. from March - May. Join Miss Deb for stories, music and hand rhymes. Drop in! Sponsored by Community Teamwork, Inc.


  • R.E.A.D.

    Second Saturday of each month: January, (no class in March,) April and May, from 10 – 11:30 a.m. Guinness is a beautiful golden retriever therapy dog. Read aloud to Guinness for 15 minutes, one-on-one (with his master, Ed) for fun and as a confidence builder.  It's great encouragement for reluctant readers! Guinness is a registered Reading Education Assistance Dog (R.E.A.D.).
    Sign up today for the April 12 and May 10 sessions!

  • Lego Club
    Lego Club

    Lego Club meets on the 3rd Saturday of each month for grades K-2 at 10 a.m. and grades 3-5 at 11 a.m. This will be creative play with the Lego creations on display at the Library until the next month. SCHEDULE CHANGE: Date in May has been changed to May 31.

    No registration necessary. Parents and caregivers, please remain on the Library premises if your child is under the age of 10.

    Join the Friends of the Library or renew your membership by April 30 to enter a drawing to win a basket of wine.
    The basket of wine will be on display in the Library through April.

    The Tyngsboro Garden Club joins with the Library to present floral arrangements that are interpretive of three dimensional art and decorative items.Welcome the spring season with this annual celebration of fresh flowers! Funded by the Friends of the Library and the Tyngsboro Garden Club.

    Come take a trip around the world with us and find out where our animals come from. This programs explores the diverse habitats of our planet and the animals that live within them. For children ages 3+. No registration required.

    Currier Museum

    So close and such a gem!
    The Currier Museum of Art’s collection includes European and American paintings, decorative arts, photographs, and sculpture, including works by Picasso, Monet, O'Keeffe, Wyeth, and LeWitt. The Museum’s  renovated and expanded space, which opened in 2008, encompasses two city blocks with outdoor space for sculpture and events.
    Remember, YOUR Friends of the Library generously support the Museum Pass Program.

  • Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children
    Open Minds: Yoga and Literacy for Children

    NEW in our Children’s Room! Classes will incorporate movement/yoga and breathing into simple literacy activities.
    Taught by yoga instructor and children’s book author Ellen Olson-Brown. Registration required.
    1)Two new weekly classes for 3-5 year olds to be held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. 6 week session running March 25 - April 29.

    2) Monthly program for infant/toddler & caregiver on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10 a.m. from January through April. Ages 12 months - 3 years. Last two classes are March 29 and April 26.

  • Magic: The Gathering Club

    Do you love Magic: The Gathering card game? If so, this is the club for you! Bring your own cards/decks to play and trade with other fans. Snacks will be provided. Enter a monthly raffle for a booster! Grades 6 & up. No registration required.

    Fourth Saturday of each month, March-May from 10 - 10:30 a.m. 

    Dads & Donuts playgroup for infants and toddlers and their dad, granddad, uncle or other male caregiver. Drop in for munchkins, juice, playtime and making new friends. Funded by Community Teamwork, Inc.

    Go Game Club

    Second Saturday of the month April - June. 

    NEW! Go Game Club! What is Go? Go is a fun, easy to learn game of strategy for all ages! Invented in China over 4,000 years ago, the game of Go takes only a few minutes to learn.  The rules are simple, yet computers still haven't been able to beat the best human Go players. Come learn & play the game of Go. Just drop in! 

    Ages 5 – teens  meet from 11- 12 p.m. Teens may also join the adult session, which meets from 12:00-1:30 p.m.
