Have you looked at OverDrive lately?

OverDrive's Next Generation Digital Library Platform

OverDrive has a new interface that makes downloading and returns simpler and easier. Get started with OverDrive Read, the new in-browser eBook reader. You'll no longer need to activate or install extra software to download your selected titles.

  • FREE content for your iPod, iPad, Nook, Kindle or other device is available through OverDrive, the Library consortium's digital downloads service. Click on the icon on the right side this page to see what we have to offer through MVLC, our Library consortium.
  • Tyngsborough cardholders have the ADVANTAGE. The next time you link to OverDrive, be sure to sign in (using the link on the upper right corner of the OverDrive home page and your Library barcode) to gain access to OverDrive Advantage. Your choices will then include items that are extra copies of popular titles that we have ordered just for Tyngsborough patrons. Keep an eye out for for an orange sun icon that indicates an item is a copy purchased for Tyngsborough patrons only. Your wait should be shorter with OverDrive Advantage!
  • Like to try out an eReader? Check out one of our 4 preloaded Nooks.

Friends of the Library

Plan ahead for the Fall Book & Bake Sale. The Friends had such success (and fun!) selling jewelry at the spring Book Sale that they’ve decided to add these offerings to the fall sale: hand knit, crocheted or crafted scarves, gloves and mittens, very gently used fashion scarves, used  jewelry and Halloween costumes.

Start crafting and/or sorting through your treasures for donations now!
