    The Currier Museum of Art’s collection includes European and American paintings, decorative arts, photographs, and sculpture, including works by Picasso, Monet, O'Keeffe, Wyeth, and LeWitt. The Museum’s renovated and expanded space, which opened in 2008, encompasses two city blocks with outdoor space for sculpture and events.
    Remember, YOUR Friends of the Library generously support the Museum Pass Program.

EReaders! 

We're your eReader Center! Whether you're just curious about them or now own one, check out the Library's eReader Service.

  • We now have four Nooks for circulation so our patrons have a chance to try them out. Our Nooks are loaded with a variety of fiction and nonfiction bestselling and classic titles, as well as a subscription to Time magazine. Search the catalog for a Nook eReader on the Library's website and place a hold, just like you would with a book or DVD. Or, you can always call us for assistance.
  • Own an eReader?  Borrow up to 5 books at a time from the Library through Overdrive. And now, Tyngsborough cardholders should have shorter waits for their favorite titles through our new Overdrive Advantage program. To search the catalog, click on the Overdrive icon on the website or call us for assistance.
  • Want to find free content for your iPod, iPad, Nook, Kindle or other device?  Come learn about all of our digital offerings from the Library at our first Digital Downloads Class.  (Watch for new date.)

The Friends of the Library

The Spring Book Sale will be held on June 9th, 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. A preview for members only will be held on Friday, June 8th, 7-9 p.m. (and yes, you may join at the door!) New for sale this year - colorful, washable fleece blankets for all your summer outings. Donations of books, CDs and DVDs are being accepted. 

It's time to renew your membership to thFriends of the Library  or join if you're new. In the past few months, the Friends have added the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum to their museum pass offerings,  purchased new books for the Children's Room and partially funded the fabulous Art in Bloom exhibit.  They're always doing something GREAT for you and your library!
